Our philosophy

The most memorable occasions are defined by how a place makes us feel. Light filtering through a canopy at dusk. The sound of gravel underfoot. Planting close enough to touch.

These are the qualities of an established garden, brought to life for a moment in time.

Inspired by the artistry and precision of an RHS Chelsea Flower Show garden, we create complete landscapes that feel entirely at home in their surroundings. Mature, beautifully composed and created in days, they transform the setting for a wedding, private celebration or exceptional event, before disappearing without a trace.

Where we come from

Twenty years in London's finest gardens

Atelier Parterre was born from The Alaster Anderson Group, with over twenty years of experience creating and caring for exceptional private gardens across London.

Working alongside leading architects, designers and estate managers, the Group has built its reputation on horticultural expertise, meticulous attention to detail and the discretion expected in private spaces.

Today, that expertise extends across three specialist brands. Rooted Garden Care nurtures established gardens. Curated Landscapes creates permanent landscapes. Atelier Parterre brings gardens to life for a moment in time.

For Alaster, the beauty of a garden lies in how it makes people feel. His approach combines an instinctive understanding of plants and landscapes with a belief that the most memorable spaces are those that feel natural, immersive and entirely at home in their surroundings. Underpinning this creative vision is a sound understanding of the planning and precise sequencing needed to deliver landscapes within tight schedules and on complex sites.

Inés brings a thoughtful, creative approach to each landscape, combining structure, texture and seasonal planting to create spaces that feel both natural and beautifully composed. Her work considers not only how a garden looks, but how it is experienced, ensuring every element contributes to the atmosphere and character of the occasion.

Commercial Director
Alice brings together the creative ambition and practical considerations behind each commission. Working closely with clients and event professionals, she focuses on understanding their vision and ensuring every detail is carefully considered. From the earliest conversation through to the finished landscape, her approach combines thoughtful planning, clear communication and a commitment to exceptional service.
